We humbly dedicate this award to each and every veterinarian and the members of the state unit in particular for the whole hearted co-operation extended long with the fame this bestows on us a lot of responsibility to maintain high standards and to progress further. Indian Veterinary Association - Kerala is steadfast in bringing about continual improvement of veterinary profession through capacity building, information sharing and arranging suitable platforms for scientists, academicians, researchers, students, field practitioners, wildlife experts and veterinarians in allied sectors for providing insights into recent trends and strategies to face the challenges in the present times. With this objective in mind, let me inform you with pleasure that this year also we are organising our prestigious annual event Kerala Veterinary Science Congress during 14th and 15th November 2020. Albeit having many constraints due to restrictions on movement and pooling of manpower and resources, Indian Veterinary Association - Kerala is undeterred, in the conduct of the proceedings of the scientific meet, since this ritualistic scientific annual event never had a setback ever since 2010. The prevailing protocol of Covid 19 restricts us to opt a virtual platform for the presentations of the scientific seminar with the ultimate aim of popularizing scientific research for the service of mankind. Since the whole world is battling with COVID 19, we find it very difficult to organize this program in grand venues as it used to be in yester years, and a whole hearted co-operation and support to this mode of conduct is expected from each and every delegate.

The theme for Kerala Veterinary Science Congress 2020 is “Evolving strategies for combating diseases of livestock and poultry in the current global scenario”. The programme will span for two days with lead papers and keynote addresses from international speakers and eminent scientists and an exclusive session for practising veterinarians is also arranged.

The mode will be online in a suitable web platform in 3 selected regional hubs. The explicit details of the mode and conduct of the proceedings is available on this site.
